Brief 3: YCN - The Grown Up Chocolate Company (Collaboration with Karolina Gliwa) - Vegan chocolate research



Vegan chocolate bar designs are usually quite dull, unappealing an dark. Most of the design appear dark and outdated.


There are many ‘Free From’ chocolate ranges that are around the same price point as The Grown Up Chocolate Company’s existing chocolates.
The designs of the bars vary with different companies; some with a modern, ‘trendy’ approach as Veganism something that has become more popular in the last few years, some designs look outdated and others are simple.

Many of the chocolate companies as well as the food market as a whole, have a tendency of branding their products ‘free from’ very discreetly. Usually presented with a small text underlining the main dominating logo. One of the best examples of introducing a diary free concept is the company ‘Moo Free’ which made their content of the product very clear. This sort of message would suit The Grown Up Chocolate Company with a subtle humour behind it as they want to appear good-natured and light hearted.
