Considering sustainability and material wastage, I thought of methods of how to make the board game more environmentally friendly. The design that stood out the most was similar to a wooden foldable chess board. The board game will be on the outside so when they open the board up, they will be able to play and when it is folded, the users can store the board game pieces inside the box. This method would save excess material and wastage that will eventually end up in the bin.
