OUGD505 - Product, Range and Distribution: Symptoms of Mental Health Problems and Recovery

Symptoms of mental health problems include:
  • Poor appetite or overeating
  • Finding little or no pleasure in activities 
  • Not enough sleep or sleeping too much
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Feeling helpless or hopeless
  • Fear of letting yourself or your family down
  • Easily irritated
  • Thinking of harming yourself
  • Thought of yourself better off dead
  • Difficulty in concertrating 
  • Severe mood swings
  • Hearing/seeing/smelling things in your head that are not real
  • Unexplained aches and pains
  • Having little or no energy
  • Having persistent thoughts in your head
  • Being unable to stop worrying
  • Smoking, drinking or taking drugs more than usual
