We decided that our theme should be of Wall Street as this was our strongest idea and we had more possible outcomes. We researched into Wall Street and how it was layout so we can get an idea how we could incorporate that into the exhibition.
The design of the posters and invites will be a recurring theme as it would make it look more consistent. We want to incorporate the corner of Bank House in the designs as people have said that Bank House is difficult to find but if we put it on the designs, they have an idea of what the building looks like therefore, it may be easier to find.
We are keeping to the idea of BP dots since this typeface is seen on the stocks. We are also using Helvetica as it will be easy to ready for body of text. As the stock market uses green as stocks going up and red as stocks going down, we decided not to use both colours together as they clash. Instead we wanted to use something similar to red but not red. We decided that orange would be a good option as it works well with green so it wouldn't be difficult to see.
The possible colour themes are:
- PANTONE 559 U - Green
- PANTONE 424 U - Grey
- PANTONE 474 U - Orange
We will also be including a video montage of hollywood films such as 'The Wolf of Wall Street' as we don't want the exhibition to be too serious.
