At the monoprint workshop, I found it fairly easy to make prints as I think it is a straight forward process. The most difficult part is just creating the shapes of what you want printing and the rest is easy. I like how you can print a design over and over with one layer of ink as the colour will slowly become a lighter shade of the first print so you can see the gradient effect when you compare the outcomes.
I also experimented with using different colours in the print by adding a different colour to the screen after the first colour had slightly faded.
I used my Secret 7" dove stencil to create these prints. I had only inked up the screen once and got different gradients of the design.
