Colour Theory final design

This is the final design. I tried to cut back as much information as I could in the design without missing the important facts. The grid has helped the design look equally proportionate and tidy.

This editorial uses Helvetica since it is a font that is easy to read and it doesn't take away from the design.

Folding types

This fold has been folded three times vertically and once horizontally. The page at the back turns out upside down when folded in this method.

The second fold looks more cleaner and better than the first fold. It is folded horizontally first then vertically, three times. The back of the editorial is the 'Tertiary' and also the right way up. Also, when you unfold the design out without unfolding it horizontally, you can just see the top section first which can be ideal if your revising with it in your hands and trying to memorise it.

Insitu

This is what the editorial design would look like in a typical situation. You can either have it folded or you can have it stuck up on the wall. The design turned out being A3 in size, each section is made of A6. I was originally planning for it to have A5 sections, so A4 design; I realised it would be too big especially when I want it so it could easily be carried around so I decided to reduce the size to make it more convenient.

The stock I used for the design was 150gsm silk white stock. I thought the silk stock would be more suitable for my design as it gives a smooth finish as well as having it white so it doesn't make the colour wheels look different that what it should be. I think 150gsm is slightly thick but it doesn't cause problems as the leaflet still folds perfectly fine.
